Do it today. Don't do it tomorrow.
Really.. it's that simple 😄
Yet, if it's that simple.. why don't we just do it?
Well because we simply LOVE adding drama on top of the simplicity of life!
Actually our brain likes to do that.. and it does it by freaking out at the slightest sign of discomfort or negative emotion..
It thinks it has to do it's best to keep us safe from that dangerous negative emotion.
And because we don't know that, we simply follow its lead as it naturally occurs.
Believing that we must take a power nap before writing that report otherwise it won't be as good...
And then after we wake up and watch 20 YouTube videos and 100 reels on IG, we find ourselves thinking that it's too late now to write.. it's dark outside and we need to sleep in 2 hours.. ..
What can you possibly achieve in 2 hours..
It's better to get up VERY early in the morning to compensate for today and just get it done.. 🤡
But then that VERY EARLY hour comes the next day and we don't feel like getting up.. our wonderful funny brain says that if we want to be productive and have a fresh and clear mind... we REALLY need to sleep some more...
And it goes on and on and on... You know the drill 😎
And ALL of that happens because your brain is wired to freak out at a sign of potential discomfort or negative feeling believing it's a threat 🙃....
How fun, no? 😄
So what if we learned how to actually feel the discomfort and process intense emotion instead of running away from it?
If it is avoiding the discomfort that keeps us stuck in inaction and prevents us from fully stepping into our power, it would only make sense that we learn how to manage and process emotions.
If we learn how to do that then we become unstoppable because all we do in life is to either feel a positive emotion or avoid feeling a negative one. So if we reach the point in which we welcome every and any emotion to simply pass through our system without freaking out about it, there's literally nothing we cannot achieve.
